Stars Dance Academy was established by Louise Fitzgerald in 2004.
The school started with only one pupil and has developed over the years to 100+ pupils and our very own dance studio.
Our goal at Stars Dance Academy is to create young strong dancers, who have confidence in their own ability and take pride in their achievements, whether they want to simply enjoy dance classes as a hobby or move on to a career in professional dance.
Students of the Academy are able to take part in shows, showcases, competitions, medal tests and ISTD examinations.
The ISTD is a high standard faculty, regularly monitored and audited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA), to ensure their standards are maintained. This stamp of approval should reassure you as parents that the ISTD qualifications are comparable to those your children study within the National Qualifications framework at school. ISTD qualifications achieved can count towards UCAS points and are recognised by all the top dance colleges around the world.
The Academy is proud to have 100% pass rate for all examinations, with children mostly achieving merit or distinction.
Students have been awarded scholarships for The Hammond School, been succesful in gaining places as associates with The Royal Ballet School, The Hammond School and Studio 10, worked with renowned choreographer Dane Bates, taken part in a professional pantomime, moved onto college and University, such as Bird College, London Studio Centre, Liverpool Central Studios, Liverpool Theatre School, LMA, Guildford School of Acting and The Royal Academy of Dance and have gained professional contracts to start their own careers in the performance industry.
